We hope the island owners, managers, policymakers, and interested citizens will:
Attend workshops: We look forward to meeting many of you at one of the 2006 island workshops. You do not need to pre-register (except for lunch for the Traverse City workshop) and there is no fee.
Read workshop handout: Even if you cannot attend, you can review and comment on the 28-page workshop handout (PDF file). The handout includes a draft of chapter three with detailed descriptions of the unique features of Great Lakes islands. The handout also includes a complete table of contents of the forthcoming report discussed below.
Review report: We will be soliciting peer and public reviews of the Framework for the Binational Conservation of Great Lakes Islands report. Please check back here late summer 2006 or get on our email list (see below).
